When I was 25, my Dad, during one of our weekly phone conversations, asked me a pivotal question: What would you do if money were no object? That was easy. I would write. I dreamt of slaving my days away at a computer, creating fictional characters, editing manuscripts, and doing it on my own time, with no one telling me what to do. Writing has always been my life. It was only recently that I realized I might be able to turn it into a career.
